I'm the CEO of the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), representing over 145,000 police officers across England and Wales. With significant board-level experience, I bring a proven track record of turning around complex organisations.
Throughout my 20 years’ experience shaping and delivering large scale transformations across both private and public sectors, my work focused on helping complex organisations adapt to disruption – aligning people, business, technology, and purpose. My experiences have taught me two enduring truths. First, that transformation follows common patterns – whether in a retailer, a regulator, or a public body. Second, the hardest part of change is human. Systems can be re-designed, processes re-engineered but belief has to be rebuilt.
Alongside my leadership career, I am also a qualified psychotherapist and therefore my leadership is grounded in empathy, resilience, and an understanding of the human side of change.
